The Sun is a gastro pub based in London. The interior of the pub has an eclectic and traditional feeling, filled with vintage furniture and decorations, giving each space its own look and feel. Following these themes, the identity makes use of a typographic system comprising of three traditional British typefaces which is used throughout all elements to represent the eclectic feel. This system also comes together to create four alternative logos which are used across all aplications. Illustrations of furniture and letterpress textures have also been used to represent the vintage and imperfect nature of the pub’s interior.
